An is doing research on the following subjects:

•  Dutch quilt history and Antique Dutch quilts. At the moment she is planning to make a new book on this particular history, with new found material, new found antique quilts and archive material.
• Antique Dutch samplers and Darning samplers. She is going to give a lecture and workshops at the Historic Deerfield Museum [MA, USA] about this subject next September 2005. See www.historic-deerfield.org.
• An is also working on the history of corded quilting. She will try to make a publication about it from Dutch museum collections later.
• Linen and trousseau, the connection to each other and samplers in particular.
